Community fundraising toolkit
Thank you for choosing to fundraise for Uniting. To help make your fundraiser a success, we’ve put together some resources to guide you.
As a valued supporter, you can raise funds in many ways to help vulnerable and marginalised people in your local community, it's as simple as filling in a form to let us know: who, how, when and where you, or your group will be fundraising.
Community Fundraising Toolkit
To help get you started, we have put together a Community Fundraising Toolkit to guide you on your fundraising journey. (Insert link)
If you’re unsure about how to fundraise, we’ve lots of great ideas that will inspire you (link to PDF – to be developed)
Create a poster
We can provide you with a Uniting logo to use on your poster. We just need to see and approve the final version before you use it to make sure it aligns with our logo usage requirements. We can also provide our logo to suit a variety of mediums, including digital screens, social media and poster stands.
Tell everyone about your event
Emails help encourage donations for your cause. And, if you use social media, make sure you post as much as possible about your fundraising activity and ask friends to support you. Link to Uniting as much as you’d like, so your supporters can find out more about us.
Remember to say thank you
Don’t forget to thank your supporters! You can download a Uniting ‘thank you’ graphic (to be created) to publicly thank your supporters on social media. You can also send them a personalised ‘thank you’ email.
